Charter and Objective

The IT Executive Committee charter
Objective: Provides executive-level input and approval from administrative, academic, and research perspectives on University-wide IT strategy, projects, standards, and policies, enabling executive sponsorship of IT initiatives, resolution of escalated decisions, and providing oversight of IT investments and their impact.

Meeting Schedule

The IT Executive Committee meets every 6 weeks.

• Approved Guiding Principles for the stewardship committees.
• Reviewed major IT initiatives, including Google Storage, Network of the Future, and Cybersecurity.
• Reviewed department and unit roadmap process.
