Charter and Objective

The Student and Academic Technologies Committee charter
Objective: The Student and Academic Committee will provide guidance and recommendations on how Notre Dame should govern, manage, and prioritize academic IT projects supporting the academic mission and effective student administration.

Meeting Schedule

The Student and Academic Technologies Committee will meet in 2024 in February, March, April, May, July, and October.

Quarterly Updates

January - March 2024

  • The committee met in February to review the prioritization matrix and provide feedback
  • The committee heard the proposal for the Hesburgh Libraries Integrated Library System Replacement project.
    • This was prioritized as the #1 priority for the committee at this time with a prioritization score of 50/50

October - December 2023

  • The Committee assembled in October for its first meeting
    • Reviewed the overall IT Stewardship Process and answered any questions from members since their onboarding conversations with the CIO, IT Lead, and SPP.
    • Reviewed the process for creating Business Case and Roadmap artifacts.
    • Discussed the criteria for evaluating project proposals.
