Academic Technologies
The Academic Technologies team identifies and facilitates the adoption of emerging technologies that advance teaching, learning and research. We review and test a wide range of technologies that enable faculty and students to be more creative and collaborative to achieve learning goals both inside and outside the traditional classroom.

We host and participate in many campus events. As a team, we've prepared a variety of presentations about our work for regional, national and international conferences--and have won some awards in the process.
The @Lab is a laboratory and demonstration facility where faculty, students and IT staff can review and experience the latest emerging technologies in action. Located in the basement of DeBartolo Hall, the @Lab regularly hosts faculty and student focus groups, vendor demonstrations and experiments to test new technologies that have potential use for Notre Dame faculty and students.
The @Lab itself is an experiment in technology-enhanced learning spaces, with a "smart grid" ceiling system that enables quick reconfiguration, device control and power management.
