Creating a Backup Local Agenda
So that you can have a copy of your agenda in case your computer can't reach the Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime server (e.g., you're away from Notre Dame, the server experiences an outage, etc.), you'll want to create a backup agenda locally on your computer. Follow the instructions below to do this.
- Login to your Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime desktop client.
- If you use Windows, under the Tools menu, select Options...
If you use Mac, under the Options menu, select Off-line... - In the dialog that appears:
- Windows users: expand the Off-line section by clicking the + next to it. Then select the Download sub-section.
- Mac users: from the categories on the left, select Download.
- In the Download section on the right, select the radio button for Entries from: and then from the drop-down menus, select the timeframe you would like your backup agenda to cover. Note: Later, if you find that it takes too long to exit out of Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime, you may want to shorten the timeframe you selected.
- Then in the Options section on the lower right side, select the radio
button for Automatically download.
- Click OK.
Now Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime will automatically download a backup copy of your agenda every time you exit the program.
