Get Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime Software

The Office of Information Technologies has purchased Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime software for those who want to install calendaring software on a personal computer. Before you can download the software, you must first have a Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime account. If you do not have an account, visit the Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime Accounts page. Any faculty or staff member with a valid Notre Dame ID can get a Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime account and the software necessary to use it.
Software download options: UNIX | Windows XP | Macintosh
CorporateTime is already installed on UNIX/Solaris workstations running AFS (e.g., on Sun workstations in the Clusters), so you do not need to install CorporateTime software on these systems.
- To launch Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime on UNIX/Solaris workstations, enter the command: ctime
- After installation, when you launch Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime for the first time, in the Sign-In window set User Name and Password to the values emailed to you in the message that had as its subject, "CorporateTime Registration Confirmation," and Server Name to: corporatetime.nd.edu
Install Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime software on your Windows computer if you would like to have access to all of the features of Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime on your personal machine.
- Download the Oracle Calendar v. 9.0.4.2 software installer to your desktop.
- After this installer downloads to your desktop, run it by double-clicking it and then follow the on-screen instructions. Whenever the installer asks you to choose among several options, choose the default by clicking Next. When the installer is completed, click Finish.
- Then launch Oracle Calendar from your Start menu.
- In the Connection Manager dialog, click the Other button next to the Connect to drop down menu,
- Click the New button.
- In the Connection Editor dialog, use the following settings:
- Connection Name: corporatetime.nd.edu
- Server: corporatetime.nd.edu
- Now click the Lookup button next to the Server field.
- A pop-up window will appear asking if the client should be automatically configured. Select No. Then click OK.
- Under the Node dropdown menu, select production.
- Click OK on the Connection Editor dialog.
- In the Connection Manager dialog, select corporatetime.nd.edu from the list on the left, and then click the Make Default button.
- Click OK in the Connection Manager dialog.
- In the Oracle Calendar login window, make sure that corporatetime.nd.edu is selected in the Connect to drop down menu.
- Then type in your Oracle Calendar/CorporateTime user name and password, and click the Sign-in button.
Install CorporateTime software on your Macintosh computer if you would like to have access to all of the features of CorporateTime on your own machine.
- Download the latest Oracle Calendar v. 9.0.4.2 software installer for the Mac.
- After this download is complete, double click the installer icon that is now on your desktop. This will start the installation process.
- After installation, when you launch Oracle Calendar for the first time, click the New button to get the connection editor screen. Fill in the following information:
- Connection Name: corporatetime.nd.edu
- Server: corporatetime.nd.edu
- Click the Lookup button.
- A dialog will appear asking if you want the server to assist you in configuring this connection. Click No.
- For the Node, select production. Then click OK.
- In the list, select corporatetime.nd.edu and click the Make Default button.
- Click Done.
- In the Sign-In window set User Name and Password to the values emailed to you in the message that had as its subject, "CorporateTime Registration Confirmation," and Server Name to corporatetime.nd.edu and click the Sign-In button.
