Exchange Calendar Resources
Updated: July 9, 2009
Like most enterprise calendaring systems, Exchange allows you to schedule resources, such as rooms or equipment. As part of the conversion from CorporateTime, the OIT has migrated the information for resource calendars in CorporateTime to the Exchange calendaring system. The resource naming convention for Notre Dame has been standardized, so the names of your CorporateTime resources may not work in the new Exchange service. To help you with this transition, we've provided a resource naming crosswalk.
Default Access Rights for Resources
The default access rights for most resource calendars are set to allow any Notre Dame employee to schedule the resource and to allow anyone to view meetings for that resources (as long as they are not marked as private by the meeting owner). Resource owners and delegates can adjust these rights as necessary.
