Note: The OIT strongly recommends that you configure your smartphone to require a passcode in order to access the phone if you use your smartphone to access or read any University information.

Support for Smartphones
The OIT Help Desk will provide assistance in configuring current model smartphones to connect to the Notre Dame network and Exchange service using the applications/tools that came with your device. For support of other applications on your device, please contact your service provider. If you are considering a new smartphone, the information below may be helpful in making your choice. Additional information about cellular service on campus and available discounts from some providers is available at http://oit.nd.edu/cellular/.

After upgrading to an Enterprise plan, you can then contact the OIT Help Desk (574-631-8111) to request a BES account. Note: After your Blackberry is activated on the BES, you will need to turn OFF BIS configuration for your Notre Dame account, or you will receive multiple copies of the same email messages. |
