Accessing your Notre Dame Exchange Email, Contacts, & Calendar on your Windows Mobile 5 Device

Note: The OIT strongly recommends that you configure your smartphone to require a passcode in order to access the phone if you use your smartphone to access or read any University information.

  1. On your Windows Mobile 5 device, press the Windows Start menu, arrow down to Programs.
  2. Select Active Sync.
  3. Select Menu.
  4. Arrow down to Configure Server.
  5. Type in Server address: owa.nd.edu (make sure the SSL Connection box is checked).  Click Next.
  6. Type in your Notre Dame e-mail username (e.g., asmith) and password.  If using automatic sync, make sure the Save Password box is checked.  Click Next
  7. Choose the data you want to synchronize: check E-mail.
  8. Select Finish.  Select Sync.

Now you can check your email as you normally would.
