Google Apps at Notre Dame
As of Wednesday, September 3, all student email goes through Gmail at Notre Dame at gmail.nd.edu!
Note: No email will be lost during this switch, and you keep the same Notre Dame email addresses you have always used.
| What To Do | Complete By | |
| Step 1 | Change your password on the Notre Dame Change Password page to synchronize your ND password with Google’s authentication framework. | AS SOON POSSIBLE BEFORE September 3rd |
| Step 2 | Decide whether you want to bring your old mail over to Notre Dame Gmail, and then do so by following these instructions. | You can wait until September 3rd to start, but make sure you move your old mail by January 3, 2009! |
| Step 3 (Optional) | If you previously configured your Notre Dame e-mail to forward messages to a third-party e-mail address (such as name@yahoo.com), and you wish to continue forwarding after September 3rd, you must reestablish mail forwarding in Notre Dame Gmail. If you previously forwarded and now wish to use ND Gmail, no action is needed. |
If you want to continue email forwarding, complete this BEFORE September 3rd! |
