Google Apps at ND accounts have been customized for optimal educational collaboration. The best way for students with disabilities to access Google Apps for Education tools (e.g. POP/SMTP, XMPP, iCal, and APIs) is to use feature rich applications, such as MS Outlook, as most of the Google Apps at ND services are not natively accessible.
I'm a faculty/staff member, can I use Google Apps?
Faculty and staff will not receive accounts in Google Apps until further discussions with University officials can determine whether it is appropriate to outsource employee and faculty email services. Regardless of the outcome of those discussions, OIT will offer improved email services to faculty and staff within the next year.
Where will the email servers be located?
