NetFile Storage Migration in Final Phase

The Office of Information Technologies (OIT) is in the final phase of the NetFile transition plan. This plan includes the relocation of all files stored in your individual NetFile storage space to Google Drive.

As part of this transition, the NetFile migration tool is no longer available. In preparation for the final migration, OIT file storage administrators will begin relocating all remaining files in NetFile beginning Tuesday, July 17

Don't Forget to Transition Your Files Before You Graduate

All the hard work you've done as part of your Notre Dame academic career needs to go with you as you take your next step. You need to begin taking steps to transfer your files stored in:

  • Gmail & Google Drive
  • Box Resources
  • Other services including web pages, NetFile and AFS files

Just locate the files and other resources you want to keep from your Notre Dame account and transfer them to a personal account, such as your Notre Dame alumni account, within 60 days after you graduate. Your NetID will be deactivated after this time.…

New Google Collaboration Tool: Team Drives

New Tap Card Readers on PrintND Printers

The Office of Information Technologies (OIT) completed a project to replace the swipe card readers on all PrintND printers with tap card readers. Any printer not part of the PrintND printing system is not affected.

These readers are similar to those used in the dining halls. The only card that will work with the tap card reader is the new ID card (Irish1Card). Your old ID card will no longer work at the printers, and in order to release your print job, you will need to touch the screen to login manually.…

CAS & Two Step Login Page Changes on 1-7-18

Office of Information Technologies (OIT) system engineers will upgrade the Central Authentication Service (CAS) on Sunday, January 7, 2018 between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m.
