Using Your Palm Wireless Device With The Nomad Wireless Network

1) From your main applications screen tap the WiFi Setup icon.

2) Tap Next

3) Select the nomad network and tap Next.

4) Tap Done.

5) Now again, from your main Applications screen, click on Prefs.

6) Tap WiFi

7) Tap Info

8) Record your Mac Address.

9) Phone the OIT Help Desk at 631-8111 and tell the staff member that you wish to “register your Palm wireless device.” The staff member will ask you for the correct Mac Address and will register the device for you. After registering your device, you will be asked to shut down your device and turn it back on.

10) When the Palm device is turned back on, return to the main applications screen and tap the Web icon.

11) You should now be able to visit the web page of your choice.
