How to Disable/Remove Wireless Management Software
The ND-secure wireless network provides University WiFi users with a secure means to access the campus network over an encrypted wireless connection. Many laptops come pre-configured with a software utility to manage the computer's wireless connections. This software can often become outdated or incompatible with other system upgrades. OIT recommends removing any 3rd party wireless management software for users running Windows XP SP2 or later or Windows Vista. Windows XP and Windows Vista provide native wireless management software that allows for easy setup for Notre Dame's ND-secure network.
