Optimization of the Verizon Wireless Signal On Campus

From Monday, October 16, through Thursday, October 19, Verizon Wireless will optimize their cellular signal on Notre Dame campus. During this time, some Verizon users may experience dropped calls; however no extended service outages are predicted.

The optimization is the final step to complete their integration into the campus distributed antenna system. The mobile antenna unit near the Hammes Bookstore will continue to provide improved coverage for Verizon customers in the southwest part of campus.

The system is expected to be operational late Thursday at the latest. The mobile antenna will likely continue to operate until Monday, October 23.
