Internet Explorer 8 Update

In response to the recently released Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8) web browser, the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) recommends that you do not install it at this time.  OIT technicians are running tests to verify that Notre Dame web services such as insideND, Banner, etc., are compatible with this new version.

Microsoft has not yet released IE 8 via the Windows Automatic Update service, so no action is necessary to block IE 8 from being installed on your computer.  Once OIT technicians are confident that Notre Dame web services are compatible with IE 8, you will receive a notification to install it.
