Voice Mail Phishing Scam Claiming to be from ND Federal Credit Union
Posted 7/21/08 9:15AM:
This morning, the OIT has received several reports that individuals received voice mail on their office, home or cell telephone numbers indicating their NDFCU card or account has been suspended and directing them to call a number to re-activate it.
Do NOT call this number, or you may give a thief access to your account. If you have already done so, contact your banking institution immediately at their officially published telephone number.
Other banking institutions may also be named in this voice mail scam.
If you have additional questions please contact your departmental IT staff or the OIT Help Desk (631-8111).
