Campus Internet Connection Maintenance

DESCRIPTION:

Maintenance scheduled for the campus network.

MAINTENANCE DATE & TIME:

Friday, June 13, 2006 at 12:00 am – 4:00 am (EDST)

IMPLICATION OF THIS MAINTENANCE:

Indiana GigaPOP Engineers will be performing maintenance on various network devices, while no outages are expected, it is possible that on-campus users might experience momentary issues connecting to sites outside Notre Dame or that users outside Notre Dame might experience momentary issues reaching campus sites.

WHO IS AFFECTED:

• All internet & intranet users.

WHAT IS BEING DONE:

Indiana GigaPOP Engineers will be performing a non service impacting software maintenance on the GigaPOP Core nodes, Life Line and ICTC. No outages are expected; however, there is a good chance that the BGP session(s) might reset.
