DNS Server Maintenance

DESCRIPTION:

Scheduled maintenance to the DNS servers.

MAINTENANCE DATE & TIME:

Sunday, July 13, 2008            8:00 am – 10:00am

IMPLICATION OF THIS MAINTENANCE:

There is a potential for the disruption of DNS services for machines located behind the Data Center firewall.

WHO IS AFFECTED:

All machines located behind the Data Center firewall.

WHAT IS BEING DONE:

The OIT staff will apply operating system updates to the DNS servers:

• Bind
• Ns2
• Ns3
• Ns4

USER ACTION NEEDED:

None.
