IT-Events List

The IT-Events list is an email distribution list used to communicate Information Technology events (problems, outages, new software releases, etc.) to the Notre Dame community. This list is open for anyone at Notre Dame to subscribe to and can be done simply by following these steps:

• Send an email to listserv@listserv.nd.edu
• In the body of the message put ONLY the following information: “subscribe IT-EVENTS Jon Doe” (with no quotation marks) where Jon Doe is your first and last name.
• If you have an email signature at the bottom of your emails, be sure to delete it from this message before sending.
• You will receive a message back confirming your subscription.
• You will now receive communication regarding outages and problems that happen around campus.
• If you would like further information about these outages, contact your departmental IT staff, or call the OIT Help Desk (1-8111) for updates on the status of outages.
• If you would like to unsubscribe from this list send an email to listserv@listserv.nd.edu.
• In the body of the message put ONLY the following information: “unsubscribe IT-EVENTS Jon Doe” (with no quotation marks) where Jon Doe is your first and last name.
• If you have an email signature at the bottom of your emails, be sure to delete it from the message before sending.
• You will then receive a message back confirming you’ve unsubscribed.
