Using the maintenance calendars via the web

Now that the maintenance calendars are Google calendars, you can do a lot more when you view the calendars on the web.

Maintenance Calendar

  1. You can move the calendar forward or backward through time using the controls on the upper-left side of the calendar.
  2. You can print the calendar. Please be green and print only when absolutely necessary!
  3. You can adjust the view of the calendar to a weekly view, a monthly view, or use the default agenda view.
  4. The small disclosure arrow on the upper-right corner of the maintenance calendar allows you to decide which maintenance calendars you see when viewing the site. The maintenance calendars are as follows:
    • Dev/PPRD/Testing System Maintenance - maintenance that affects development, pre-production, or test systems will be placed on this calendar.
    • Major Impact Maintenance - maintenance that affects large portions of campus or that affects critical University systems for extended periods of time will be placed on this calendar
    • Minor Impact Maintenance - maintenance that affects very small groups, services that are not critical to the functioning of the University, or maintenance that is for very brief periods
    • ND Administrative calendars - notes important dates/holidays in the University administrative year
    • Significant Impact Maintenance - maintenance that affects key University services or moderately-sized groups of people will be placed on this calendar
    • Standard Maintenance - routine maintenance that is performed at least weekly, or more often, to ensure proper functioning of some services is placed on this calendar
    • US Holidays - notes official US holidays
  5. By clicking on the name/title of any maintenance you can see the details of that maintenance.
