Intermittent Problems Accessing Exchange

We know during the first few days of this week that Exchange performance was slow. The OIT has a Microsoft engineer onsite that is helping us tweak the Exchange environment to ensure optimal performance - some of these changes have already taken effect, and you should notice that performance has improved.
If you experience slowness or any other problems using Exchange (for calendaring or email), please immediately contact your departmental IT support staff or the OIT Help Desk at 574-631-8111. We are dedicated to making Exchange a better, faster environment than our previous email and calendaring systems.

We are receiving some reports of individuals experiencing slow or dropped connections or an inability to connect to Exchange Email. The problem appears to be intermittent, and not all email users are affected. System administrators are currently investigating the problem.
