Taking pictures is more than snapping a shutter, and more than special filters and lighting. It's recognizing the purpose, focus, and intended audience for the shot. It includes positioning the subjects, choosing the best angles, and seeing the setting as the camera would. It's producing a result that is worth those 1000 or 10,000 words.

Photographic Services offers quality photography as well as digital services. Though our standard pricing is included here, we encourage you to contact us for a custom quote.

Photography

Our professional photographers shoot color or black and white photographs on either location or studio settings. We specialize in both group photographs, special event shots, and photographs for brochures, newsletters, web pages and catalogs. We are proficient in 35mm, medium format (2 1/4), large format (4x5) and digital format photography.

Rates

Charges are based on hourly photographer's rates. For jobs that require intricate lighting and/or heavy setup work, there may be additional charges. Our professional photographers can discuss the various options available prior to providing you with a detailed cost estimate.

Hourly Photographer rates*:
Normal business hours (Mon-Fri 8-5pm): $40 per hour
After hours: $60 per hour (based on after 5 weekday, weekend, or holidays)

* Does not include film, processing, prints, or digital storage.

Digital Imaging

35mm slides from Powerpoint or image files (Pict, Tiff, Photoshop, or scrapbook)
Cost: $4.00 each

4x5 Transparencies from your image files (maximum resolution 600 dpi)
Cost: $15.00 each

4x5 Color negatives or black and white negatives from your image files (maximum resolution 600 dpi):
Cost: $10.00 each

All digital services require a 3-day lead time.
