Printing to Student Labs, Residence Hall, & Campus Printers from Your Windows XP or Windows Vista Computer
Follow the steps and illustrations below to install a Campus Printing printer. Repeat the steps to install additional printers.
Warning: If you send print jobs to a campus printer using this method, other Windows users may be able to view your print jobs within the queue, as well as your NetID. They CAN NOT view the contents of your print job, nor can they make any changes to it.
Adding Printers:
- Download the Print@ND for Windows software from HERE and save it to a known location such as your Desktop.
- Run the installer by double-clicking the printatndwin1_1.msi file.
- After the software is installed, you will have two new shortcuts on your desktop.
- To setup printers for the first time or to add new printers, double-click the shortcut called "Print@ND for Windows."
- The utility will check for a network connection and may prompt you for your NetID and password. Enter your NetID and password when prompted.
- Once you've authenticated, click the Add Printers button.
- Select either Residence Hall Printers, Student Lab Printers, or Campus Printers and then click the Show Printers button.
- Using the check boxes, select the printer(s) you wish to addand click the Configure Printers button.
- After a pause, you should receive confirmation that the printers were added successfully
- You may repeat steps 7 thru 9 to add more printers.
- When you are finished, click the Exit button.
Reconnecting to the printers:
When you log out of Windows or restart your computer, connection to the print servers will be lost and must be re-established before you attempt to print.
- Double-click on the Print@ND Reconnect icon.

- When prompted for your NetID and password, enter them in the fields provided.


- When you get to the screen below, click Exit.

- Start printing your documents.
