Audio Video Equipment Checkout
The OIT Help Desk has a variety of audio-visual equipment available to faculty, staff and students, including:
- Audio recorders
- Classroom microphones and Catchboxes
- DSLR cameras, video cameras, GoPros, and camera accessories
- Powerpoint remotes and laser pointers
- Projectors and adapters
- Zoom Kit for video conferencing
This equipment is available for checkout (no fee charged), or rental (fee charged) based on how the equipment will be used.
If the equipment is used solely in the classroom or for class work (i.e., class presentations, student projects, etc.), it can be checked out at no charge for the period of time listed on the equipment package.
Most loan periods are up to 5 days depending on equipment type. Semester loan options are available on minimal equipment for faculty only. Bring your Notre Dame ID card to 115 DeBartolo Hall to check out equipment.
For any other event, the OIT A/V Technologies team can assist you in renting the equipment you need for a nominal fee.

The OIT can help students, faculty, staff, and Notre Dame guests develop a plan for the right equipment and support to make your personal or professional event a memorable one. Contact us for virtually any type of event on or off-campus, including:

We offer services such as tech support, video recording, and setup/strike. Quotes are free, but tech support and AV equipment rental come with a fee.
