NetFile - Map a Volume on Mac OS X

1. With the Finder selected, go to the Go menu and select Connect to Server.
2. In the Address field, type the following address, substituting your NetID  where our example gives asmith:
   
   smb://fs.nd.edu/~asmith
   
3. Click the Connect button.
4. You'll be presented with an authentication screen. There is no need to change the Workgroup/Domain field's contents. For the Username field, enter your NetID. For the password field, enter your Password.
5. Click OK to finish the connection.

Your NetFile space will appear on your Macintosh Desktop with a network drive icon.
