General Terms
Your Apple Desktop or Laptop was originally sold to you with a specific Apple factory hardware warranty. That warranty will include 1 to 3 years parts/labor coverage and possibly 1 to 3 years of onsite labor coverage. The specific length and type of hardware warranty your machine received is noted in your original Apple user manual that was supplied with your machine. If you do not have this information you can call Apple at 800-SOS-APPL. When calling have your machine's Serial number available. If you purchase AppleCare at the time of purchase or during your 1 year warranty, your length of warranty is increased depending on how much time you purchased. Note that most laptops and small printers require carry-in service to the nearest service center. The warranty begins on the day of purchase.
