Your Dell Desktop, Laptop, or Server computer was originally sold to you with a specific Dell factory hardware warranty. That warranty will include at least 1 to 3 years of parts coverage and possibly 1 to 3 years of onsite labor coverage. The specific length and type of that hardware warranty your machine received is noted on your original purchase receipt from Dell. If you do not have this information you can call Dell at 1 888 560 8324. When calling have your machine's Service Tag number (a 5 or 7-digit alpha-numeric code) available. Please note that all Dell warranties begin on the day that the machine was originally shipped from Dell's factory. This is a Dell policy.
