IBM/Lenovo Computer Warranty Information
General Terms
Your IBM/Lenovo PC Desktop or Thinkpad computer was originally sold to you with a specific IBM factory hardware warranty. That warranty will include 1 to 4 years parts/labor coverage and possibly 1 to 4 years of onsite labor coverage. The specific length and type of hardware warranty your machine received is noted in your original user manual that was supplied with your machine. If you do not have this information you can call IBM/Lenovo at 1-800-426-7378. When calling have your machine's Serial number available. The OIT Service Center can also verify coverage with IBM/Lenovo if you need service. Note that most laptops and small printers require carry-in service to the nearest service center (OIT Service Center).
