Contribute Tutorials

Macromedia Contribute is designed to help you manage and maintain Web pages. It's a simple program that concentrates on the basics of Web management--text insertion and revision, image insertion and revision, and linking to files, other pages and email accounts.

Contribute is offered as a hands-on course through the OIT's Technical Training Program. For more information, check out the Contribute schedule.

Because of the need to be linked to a www folder and have multiple files in place, the course cannot be taken outside of the training lab. This set of tutorials is meant to supplement the classroom instruction and reinforce it. You will not be able to do these exercises in your office as the files are not available for use elsewhere.

You will need Shockwave Player to run them. Most systems come with this installed. If yours does not have it, you can download Shockwave Player free of charge by clicking here.

These tutorials contain an audio file; they can be viewed with it turned off however.
