Contribute: Managing Your ND Web Site

Course Description:

Contribute is a Web site management tool that allows users to quickly and easily make updates to Web pages.  With Contribute, non-technical users can make changes to any HTML Web site while automatically maintaining site standards for style, layout, and code.

Course Objectives: As a result of this training, you will be able to

• Connect to a Web site using a Contribute key
• Add pages in Contribute
• Edit and format text in Contribute
• Insert and edit images in Contribute
• Create and edit links in Contribute
• Publish a new Contribute page or use the rollback feature to return to a previous version

This class is taught on Windows machines but can be taken by PC or Mac users.

• Take a scheduled instructor-led course here on campus. This class is taught on Windows machines but can be taken by both PC and Mac users.
• Use specific Notre Dame documentation to learn Contribute on your own.

• Use the on-line tutorials to help with Contribute functions.
