Tweet (v.) To update your status on Twitter.

 Eg. Just had lunch at McDonalds! I’m lovin it!

@Replies (v.) Public responses to something someone else has Tweeted.

Eg. Aplusk: We are in the middle of a tornado watch. Had to shut down production. It’s a twister it’s a twister!
Welshmnky: @aplusk watch out for flying cows!

ReTweet (v.) Repeating a tweet you saw so that your own followers can see it.

Eg.  “RT @aplusk We are in the middle of a tornado watch. Had to shut down production. It's a twister it's a twister!”

Direct Message or DM (n.) a private Tweet sent only to the person you want it to go to. No one else can see this.

Followers (n.) People who have subscribed to receive your Tweets. When you Tweet, they'll receive the update to their twitter page. Also, you can follow others so that when they Tweet, you'll receive the update.
