Advisory and Governance

The Office of Information Technologies relies on input and shared guidance from many areas of the University, including formal committees, advisory groups, guidance councils, steering committees, and more. In 2022-2023, the OIT is introducing the IT Stewardship Model to further mature the IT investment process. This page includes key materials related to these efforts and the groups that support them. 

University Committee for Academic Technologies (UCAT)

The University Council for Academic Technologies considers policies, practices and procedures related to University computing and information services. The Council provides a forum for collaboration between faculty, students and the Office of Information Technologies to identify new applications of technology that will enhance teaching, learning, and research. More about the committee
