User Services

User Services is often the first experience many people have with the OIT by providing information, support, training, or help with technology at Notre Dame. The team consists of five main areas that are focused on making technology work for regular people:

  • Communications and Marketing - getting you up to date, helpful information about IT services at Notre Dame
  • Configuration Management - managing how technology changes affect IT services
  • Help Desk - delivering computer and technology assistance via phone, chat, email, and in person 
  • Service Center and CWP - providing hardware repair and warranty services for faculty, staff, and students, as well as managing University-funded workstations for eligible faculty and staff 
  • Training and Transition Services - offering technology education opportunities for campus, and leading efforts to help faculty and staff adjust to technology changes
