IT Services for Working Remotely

Notre Dame, like other institutions of higher education, is confronting major disruption due to the global coronavirus outbreak.

The announcement regarding the suspension of all in-person classes through at least April 13, and extension of the University’s spring break through March 22, has required faculty to choose the necessary resources needed to teach and work remotely.

The University set up a website with valuable information to help you through this transition at: coronavirus.nd.edu/instructional-continuity.

This web page also includes a link to OIT technical resources to support teaching and learning efforts while away from campus.

The OIT Help Desk has extended hours for phone, email and chat support, and will last until further notice:

  • Monday-Friday  6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday (March 15 only) 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
