Individual Files from NetFile Now in Google Drive

Netfilemove

As of Wednesday, August 1, access to your NetFile space containing your individual files has been removed. These files have been relocated to your Google Drive in a folder called Migrated_From_NetFile.

As you begin working with your files in Google Drive, please be aware that documents containing links to other files may no longer work. Be sure to review your documents prior to using them in a lecture or presentation to confirm the links are working. For instructions on identifying broken links within your documents and how to fix them, go to: ntrda.me/brokenlink.

Working in Google Drive

For additional information, Google Drive quick-reference guides and resources are available to help you get started. Demonstration sessions on how to work with your files in Google Drive are also available. Dates and times for these sessions are found here.

Working with Microsoft Office in Google Drive

If you regularly work with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), you may continue to work with these files in Google Drive using Google Drive File Stream. It provides a way to easily access your files stored in Google Drive through Windows File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac). Once installed, it behaves similarly to the mapped drive experience of your NetFile space.

To work with Google File Stream, you will need to install the app on your computer by following these instructions.
