New Zoom Recordings Retention Plan Announced
The Office of Information Technologies (OIT) Zoom administrators have a new Zoom recordings retention plan in place that will affect all recordings stored in the Zoom cloud (zoom.nd.edu).
The new plan procedure states that any recording over 365 days old stored in the Zoom cloud will be deleted unless it is moved to Panopto. This is an ongoing process and will affect all recordings as they reach their deletion date.…

Zoom Security Requirement Postponed
Zoom has postponed the required security enhancement originally scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 27 until sometime in November. Once in place, any meeting that doesn't contain a passcode or waiting room will automatically be assigned a waiting room.
The OIT recommends you review your scheduled meetings without passcodes before November so you can update them. You can do so by logging into the Zoom web portal (zoom.nd.edu). These meetings are listed in the Meetings tab and indicated by a red exclamation point with a circle around it. Just follow these guidelines for adding a passcode or waiting room to those meetings:…
