Individual NetFile accounts have been successfully migrated to Google Drive. The Office of Information Technologies (OIT) is now in the final phase of relocating files stored in all departmental NetFile storage spaces to Google Drive by Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

As of Wednesday, August 1, access to your NetFile space containing your individual files has been removed. These files have been relocated to your Google Drive in a folder called Migrated_From_NetFile.

All the hard work you've done as part of your Notre Dame academic career needs to go with you as you take your next step. You need to begin taking steps to transfer your files stored in:
- Gmail & Google Drive
- Box Resources
- Other services including web pages, NetFile and AFS files
Just locate the files and other resources you want to keep from your Notre Dame account and transfer them to a personal account, such as your Notre Dame alumni account, within 60 days after you graduate. Your NetID will be deactivated after this time.…

New Tap Card Readers on PrintND Printers
The Office of Information Technologies (OIT) completed a project to replace the swipe card readers on all PrintND printers with tap card readers. Any printer not part of the PrintND printing system is not affected.
These readers are similar to those used in the dining halls. The only card that will work with the tap card reader is the new ID card (Irish1Card). Your old ID card will no longer work at the printers, and in order to release your print job, you will need to touch the screen to login manually.…
