As a result of the update by OIT Zoom administrators, passwords are required for meetings created after June 13. Meetings that were entered into the calendar before 8 a.m. on June 13 are NOT affected.
When you schedule a meeting, the meeting password will now be automatically added to the invitation and securely embedded in the URL of the meeting. No other action is required.
OIT Zoom administrators proactively took this action now to help ease the transition for campus since Zoom has indicated that it will begin requiring passwords for all Zoom meetings soon.
