Charlotte Souffront Garcia

Charlotte serves as the Director of Culture and Engagement. In this role, Charlotte works closely with HR and focuses on amplifying and building talent within the OIT. She helps grow and develop OIT pipeline programs, ensures accountability for inclusion and diversity efforts, and reimagines recruiting, onboarding, professional development, and advancement opportunities for OIT staff. In addition, she oversees physical space and administrative planning.

Charlotte joins OIT from Florida State University where she served as the Director of Strategic Relationships & Partner Success. In that role, she was responsible for leading strategy and engagement for technology-related relationship management, identifying opportunities to promote innovation, driving operational efficiencies, and leading cost saving efforts across the university. Charlotte also led the COVID Technology Response Team, which was a cross FSU organizational group. This group delivered exceptional results to the campus for a daily check in mobile app, contact tracing, COVID testing, vaccinations, data and leadership dashboards along with countless integrations through the COVID crisis. Charlotte worked directly with students while she served as the advisor of the Puertorican Student Association. In 2019, she was awarded the inaugural Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) Partner of the Year award for her work in helping to improve the visibility and administration of FSL at FSU and establish a more efficient and effective way to address fraternity and sorority issues. In 2021, she co-chaired the Vice President’s committee on Hispanic/Latinx student life and received the Latinx Distinguished Staff Award.

Charlotte is an FSU alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in international affairs with a focus on political science. She is currently working on her Master of Science in Information Technology. Away from work, Charlotte loves spending time with her husband, Gerardo; three children, Diego, Natalia, and Mateo; and rescue dogs, Lucas and Maeby. You will likely find her at the beach or traveling for competitive soccer games.
