Charlotte Souffront Garcia

Charlotte Souffront-García is the Senior Director of IT Strategy & Operations at the University of Notre Dame. In this role, she leads strategic initiatives across culture and engagement, talent acquisition, IT marketing and communications, IT service management, and data governance. Charlotte plays a key role in aligning technology strategy with institutional priorities while cultivating an inclusive, high-performing organizational culture.

Previously, Charlotte served as Notre Dame’s Director of Culture and Engagement, where she collaborated closely with Human Resources to enhance and expand talent development within the Office of Information Technology (OIT). Her efforts included growing OIT pipeline programs, championing accountability in diversity and inclusion efforts, and reimagining key aspects of the employee experience; from recruiting and onboarding to professional development and career advancement.

Before joining Notre Dame, Charlotte was the Director of IT Strategic Relationships & Partner Success at Florida State University. In addition to her IT leadership, she served as advisor to the Puerto Rican Student Association and was honored with multiple university recognitions for her contributions.

Charlotte holds a B.A. in International Affairs with a focus in Political Science from Florida State University. A native Spanish speaker from San Juan, Puerto Rico, she is deeply passionate about advancing belonging, access, and innovation in higher education technology.

Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her husband, Gerardo; their three children, Diego, Natalia, and Mateo; and their two dogs, Lucas and Maeby.
