John leads the team that plans, designs, deploys, and maintains the infrastructure to support the network and telephony services used by the University. This includes the physical cabling, fiber, wired network connectivity, Wi-Fi, Cellular, and VoIP and Centrex telephones.
John has served in several roles since joining the OIT 2000. He began as a Systems Administrator and progressed into a Systems Engineer, Manager of Systems Engineer, Director of Core Services, Infrastructure Architect, and Interim Senior Director of Infrastructure Services before being promoted to his present role as Senior Director in 2018.
John enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Pam, and their three children, Megan, Matthew, and Ava. He also enjoys golf, travelling, and nearly any activity in the water.
