Charter and Objective
The Information Governance Committee charter
Objective: In order to meet the diverse academic and administrative needs of the University community, the Information Governance Committee will provide guidance and recommendations that address strategic issues across three broad domains: information access and security, descriptive institutional metrics and data fields, and business intelligence functions that support data-driven decision making. The IGC will also work to maximize value from Notre Dame’s information and analytic resources, minimize inefficiencies, and responsibly balance the trade-offs between data access and privacy.
