Apple released its new operating system Sequoia (MacOS 15) on Monday, Sept. 16.

If you see an alert that the MacOS15 Sequoia upgrade is available, delay downloading and installing it at this time on any University-owned or personal computer you use for work or in the classroom.

Office of Information Technology (OIT) system administrators are in the process of testing it to determine when it will be able to support Notre Dame services.

If you have a University-owned Mac computer, the ability to install Sequoia has been blocked until testing is complete. More information is available in this knowledge article.

Once it’s determined that most ND services are compatible with this operating system, the OIT will send a notification to let you know when you can install it.

For 24/7 self-service assistance including the virtual agent, go to: servicenow.nd.edu, or contact the OIT Help Desk during business hours at 574-631-8111 or oithelp@nd.edu.
