Scott Kirner

Scott leads a team that supports infrastructure, platform and application services, including cloud infrastructure, on-premises server virtualization and storage, identity and access management, database services, Banner administration, enterprise integration, collaboration platforms, server operating system administration and application administration.

Scott joined the OIT in 1997 as a systems administrator. He went on to manage application development teams and serve as a technical lead in the Banner implementation. After serving for five years as Director of Enterprise Systems, he completed a mini-rotation outside the OIT with university space management. Upon returning, he took a management role on the infrastructure side of the OIT, served as an enterprise architect, and was promoted to his current senior director role in 2019.

Scott and his wife Karen enjoy making music with their children Claire, Emma and Joe in support of prayer and goodwill on campus and in the local community.
