PCI-DSS Compliance Program

Merchants accepting credit/debit card payments at the University of Notre Dame are required to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), when conducting e-commerce, mail-order/telephone-order, or face to face transactions. The policies, standards, procedures, and forms found on this website are utilized in order to ensure that these standards are consistently being met.

In order to remain compliant, the University provides annual computer-based training to campus employees that process, or are otherwise exposed to credit/debit card numbers.

To request access to the PCI-DSS computer-based training, please use this ServiceNow training access request form. Be sure to select “Add Access to CCSP Training” from the drop-down menu.

To have a Point-of-Sale (POS) device or solution evaluated for use on campus, please submit a ServiceNow Security Assessment request form. POS devices used on campus must be PCI validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) solutions.
