Old Fellows Compressed

About the program
The IT fellows program at Notre Dame offers participants opportunities to have a direct impact on technology at ND by contributing to development and support of Notre Dame's IT services. Learn about technology trends in higher education and gain new skills while working on IT projects in partnership with staff, faculty, and students. Selected participants will perform meaningful work that is connected to ND IT priorities, strategies, and mission. You will work alongside professionals in various areas of IT as you gain experience managing projects on your own. The University of Notre Dame has a broad, international presence, and some participants may have the opportunity to work for a week in our London Global Gateway.

During the program, you will have access to training and professional development workshops, classes, and resources, and will be mentored by an IT professional. Because the program emphasizes collaboration with the campus community, applicants should be organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups is essential, as is an enthusiasm for exploring how technology can support teaching and learning. Knowledge of programming is desirable for development roles but not required.

The program is a two-year, limited-term position consisting of three sequential eight-month rotational assignments in ND IT departments.
