Device Security
Device Security

Device Security is an improved toolset to help protect you, as well as university devices & data. Notre Dame uses multiple layers of security to help protect University-managed devices and the data they access. These protections are designed to run in the background, reduce risk, and support quick response if something goes wrong.
Device security measures include:
-
Protection against malware and other malicious software
-
Continuous monitoring for suspicious or unusual activity using Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
-
Regular operating system and application updates
-
Disk encryption to protect data if a device is lost or stolen
-
Secure configuration standards for University-managed devices
